Eldon Fields Colloquium

KU once again has the honor of showcasing its faculty at the Eldon Fields Colloquium. This year, join professors Zachary Mohr and Hala Altamimi for their discussion.

Influencing Outcomes:  Two studies about how the structure of decision-making processes and information sharing affect organizational change and engagement.

Dr. Hala Altamimi explores how varying degrees of centralizing/decentralizing the decision-making process influence the successful implementation of performance-enhancing organizational changes in a budget crisis.  Dr. Zach Mohr joins the discussion to present his research regarding citizen engagement and decision-making in the budget process.  He’ll share observations from behavioral experiments of online budget simulations to show how small changes made at the outset of the budget process influence engagement, decision-making, and the outcome for the organization.
