Biography —
Aaron Thomas, a Harry Nalbandian Public Service, Darwin W. Daicoff, Alan E. Sims fund, and Self Memorial Fellowship scholar, is pursuing a Master of Public Administration through the City/County Management Fellowship at the University of Kansas. This program includes a Management Internship at the City of Mission Hills, KS. He holds a bachelor's degree in public administration from the KU School of Public Affairs and Administration, a minor in project management, and a professional certificate in arts engagement. His undergraduate academic achievements are further accentuated by his induction into the KU chapters of the National Academic Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and Pi Alpha Alpha, and the Global Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. Additionally, he is also a 2024-2025 Self Memorial Scholar.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Aaron is committed to life-long learning. He actively leads his family-owned small business, founded in 2015, after a fourteen-year career as a professional musician. Most notably, he finds gratification and self-realization as a husband, father, and stepfather. His relentless pursuit of progression stems from his dedication to serving his family and community.
