Biography

Andrew Davis is a Richard Chesney, Bob and Linda Livingston Fellow and KACM Scholarship recipient and graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s in political science and religious studies and a minor in African/African-American studies. Prior to joining the KU MPA fellows program, Andrew worked as a college and youth pastor at Vintage Church in Lawrence, KS with an emphasis on community, justice, and service. During his undergrad years, Andrew was a tutor for TRIO, worked as a resident advisor in student housing, helped raise money for the university during his time at KU Endowment, and was a mentor for young boys of color in Lawrence Public Schools through the Mentors of Color of Program. Andrew was also a 2-year recipient of the Morgan Taylor scholarship. Currently, Andrew works as an intern in the city manager’s office for the city of Lawrence.
