John Douglas

John R. Douglas, a Mary Morrill Litchfield, Bob and Linda Livingston, and John and Carol Nalbandian scholar, graduated magna cum laude of the Class of 2025 from Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in public administration. He completed his capstone project on the study of four city comprehensive plans in the Tulsa and Dallas metropolitan areas.

Growing up in Northeastern Oklahoma, he learned that his passion was to improve the lives of the people around him. Leadership roles in his local church as well as an internship with Rogers County, Oklahoma, and now with the City of Overland Park, Kansas Police Department, has given him good public service experiences that are sure to serve him well going forward in his career.
