Biography —
Margaret (Maggie) Swenson is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Public Affairs and Administration. Her research focuses on social equity, collaboration, and health policy.
Maggie’s dissertation research explores the formation, success, and strategies of collaborations working to promote health equity. Her other ongoing research projects examine the equity impacts of collaboration, social resources, climate change, and health policies. She aims to quantify disparities and identify solutions to mitigate and eliminate their harm to marginalized communities.
Maggie is a recipient of the Eisenhower Institute's Roberts Fellowship and the University of Kansas's Dean's Doctoral Fellowship.
