Mason Floyd

Mason Floyd – a Mary Litchfield, Rosemary O’Leary Family, and Buford M. Watson, Jr. Fellow – graduated with honors from Texas Christian University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in economics and political science. As an undergraduate, Mason had several internships, including a stint with the City of Benbrook, Texas as a community development intern, where he helped digitize records and create a database for the cemetery which was owned and operated by the city’s Department of Public Services. Another internship involved Mason interning with his local US Representative, splitting time between the constituent services and campaign efforts of the Congressman. He also served in various leadership roles on campus, mostly with his university’s First Year Experience, serving as a mentor and leader for incoming students.
