Biography

Reagan Walsh is a Richard Chesney and Paul Reaume Fellow and graduated with honors from the University of Kansas School of Business in 2020 with a bachelor of science in finance. As an undergraduate, he was involved in many different clubs and organizations including Student Senate, representing the Business School as a senator for three years and Delta Chi Fraternity, serving as community service chair.  As community service chair, Reagan was awarded a scholarship for outstanding investment and service to the Lawrence community. Reagan has interned in the finance department for Asian Venture Philanthropy Network, a nonprofit based in Singapore that is focused on impact investing to create new and solid foundations in low-income areas in Southeast Asia. Reagan started with the City of Olathe as the strategic planning intern in his senior year and will be continuing his role through his first year in the MPA program. He will work with Olathe's internal and external performance benchmarks as well as the internal data system ClearPoint. One of Reagan’s major goals is to develop future performance initiatives to better the services provided for the Olathe community. ​
