Sarah Hofmeyer

Sarah Hofmeyer is a doctoral candidate in the School of Public Affairs and Administration. Raised in Iowa, Sarah received her Bachelor’s degrees in political science and public administration at the University of Northern Iowa.

Sarah has interdisciplinary interests in research, most related to urban planning, sustainability and ecology, food systems, hazard mitigation, and equity concerns. She is currently focusing on the role organizations play throughout disaster within a larger community context, and the siting of wind turbines in the Great Plains.
