Biography —
Theodore “Teddy” Blair, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas in 2026 with degrees in Political Science (with a minor in Urban and Regional Planning) and Geography (with a concentration in Cartography, Remote Sensing, and GIS). In undergrad, Teddy was a member of the Honors College and head section leader in the Razorback Marching Band. His honors thesis was about creating a GIS-based site suitability model for sports stadium construction in Kansas City.
A lifelong Kansan, Teddy developed a passion for public service through his involvement with the Boy Scouts, where he became an Eagle Scout. He solidified his interest for public administration through his internship with the City of Lenexa Public Works department and continued to serve at the municipal level as a GIS Intern for the City of Leawood. Teddy is passionate about improving efficiency, responsiveness, and community in local government, and is excited for the next chapter in his public service career within the Kansas City Metropolitan area.
