Urban Planning Minor Requirements

The Urban Planning Minor consists of 6 classes: 2 core courses and 4 electives. 

The core required courses to complete the minor are: 

  • UBPL 200 Sustainability and Society and 
  • UBPL 300 Planning the Sustainable City.

The elective options (you will take four of the five options provided) are: 

  • UBPL 410 Housing Policy and Planning, 
  • UBPL 420 Sustainable Land Use Policy and Planning, 
  • UBPL 425 Environmental Planning Techniques, 
  • UBPL 450 Transportation Policy and Planning, and
  • UBPL 480 Climate Change & Hazards Planning.
