About Meredith —
Meredith Hauck has been a dedicated mentor throughout her career, not only within the KUCIMAT family, but throughout the profession as well. Meredith is currently one of the Practitioners in Residence for the MPA class of 2026, her third time serving in this capacity. During each term of her service, she takes the time to build strong one-on-one connections with the students in the program. From helping them prepare for interviews, making local connections as they move to new communities, and keeping in touch as they grow in their careers, Meredith is known as a trusted friend and mentor. Meredith also has this reputation within the profession at large. She goes the extra mile to help people make connections to expand their knowledge and networks. She is always willing to volunteer for a committee or take an informal phone call to lend her expertise to others. Meredith is especially passionate about supporting women in the profession and has been integral in organizing this work both locally and nationally. Many know that Meredith recently beat Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Even during that challenging journey, Meredith publicly shared her experience fighting cancer to help bring awareness to an issue that’s impacting more and more people, as well as our workplaces. As a survivor, she continues to volunteer her time to help educate others.
