KUCIMATs at ICMA in Tampa 2025

We look forward to you joining us for the 2025 Kansas University City Managers and Trainees Alumni Organization (KUCIMAT) ICMA alumni reception in Tampa, FL on Sunday, October 26th, 2025 from 5pm - 8pm at Jackson's Bistro Bar & Sushi.

Note that while this is branded as a KUCIMAT event, it is open to all KU MPA alumni.

Early registration is strongly encouraged due to the likelihood of heightened attendance at this year's reception given the 75th anniversary and strict capacity limits. No on-site registrations will be accommodated due to Jackson's Bistro occupancy limits so note that registration will close by early August. The KUCIMAT board is working on organizing an additional KUCIMAT alumni event following the reception Sunday evening - this would be a free to attend event and additional details will be provided once available!

This year, we will meet at Jackson's Bistro Bar and Sushi for an evening filled with networking, laughter, and meaningful programming to celebrate our fellow alumni and their accomplishments. The cost to attend is $100 which includes a full dinner and two drink tickets. Intentional programming will include presentation of the award recipients, recognition of the KUCIMAT board (new and outgoing members), an introduction to the Class of 2027 and updates from the Class of 2026, updates from the School of Public Affairs and Administration, commemorating 75 years of SPAA, and more! 

Virtual Reception

We will once again hold a virtual reception on October 9, 2025 at 6 pm via Zoom. We will present the same program we do at the in person ICMA reception, including recognizing award winners and singing the alma mater. Register today!
