Biography

Collin Cox – an Ethan Allen and Ray Botch City Management Fellow – graduated with a bachelor’s in public administration and law & society with a minor in German studies.  Collin’s assisted with a socio-legal justice project – under the direction of Dr. Shannon Portillo – focused on women in public management roles.  Collin eagerly pursued leadership opportunities throughout his undergraduate degree, from both extra-curricular and employment ventures within prominent campus offices, including KU Alumni Association, Office of the Provost, Office of the Chancellor, Kansas Memorial Union, and Board of Class Officers.  He served as an orientation assistant and as an undergraduate representative in the Department of Germanic Studies meetings.  Collin assisted Diane Stoddard at the City of Lawrence with work related to elementary government education and volunteer work, budget management, campus affairs, outreach, and campaigning.  Collin hopes to continue engaging with diversity policy through his public administration work.
