Biography

Geoffry A.B. Brown is a Mary M. Litchfield, Bob Lowry, and Botch City Management scholar. He received his Bachelor of General Studies in political science with minors in business and public administration from The University of Kansas in the Fall of 2023. As an undergrad, he served as the President of the Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., a University Senator for the Black Student Union, and Vice President for National Pan-Hellenic Council. During his undergraduate, Geoffrey also interned for the City of Melissa TX, the City of Eudora, KS, and the City of Shawnee, KS. Through these opportunities, he learned about the value of effective public service in local government. Through his various experiences watching and acting as a public servant, he has grown his passion for public service. Geoffry hopes to build connections and learn from a community of experts who have come before him in the KU MPA program. His goal is to become the public servant and leader he knows he can be within his community.
