Justin Moen

Justin R. Moenis a Ph.D. student in the School of Public Affairs & Administration and is the current Assistant to the Secretariat for the Public Management Research Association. Before entering SPAA, Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Minnesota State University Moorhead, a master’s degree in comparative politics from the University of Georgia, as well as an MPA from the University of Kansas. 

Drawing upon the theoretical insights and methodological perspectives of various social scientific disciplines, and grounded by the humanities, Justin’s teaching and research explores the human side of managing public organizations. With an interest in local government administration, his work seeks to identify, describe, and help develop both the organizational resources necessary for, and strategic orientation conducive to, creating and ensuring opportunities for personal growth, professional development, and human flourishing in the public workplace.
