Samantha Martens

Samantha Martens, an Ethan Allen and Bob Lowry scholar, graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in Communication Studies and Sociology in May of 2021 and is excited to join the MPA City Management Fellows Class of 2023. Throughout her undergraduate, Samantha was involved in organizations that helped develop her passion for service, including The BIG Event and multiple ministries through the St. Lawrence Center. She gained experience working with the public in multiple positions with Parks + Recreation in Jackson County, MO, and is looking forward to building more community relationships in the Kansas City area.
