Biography

Yiwen Wu is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Public Affairs and Administration, specializing in environmental planning. His research focuses on the strategies for building resilient and sustainable communities.

Yiwen’s dissertation explores how the hollow state – government outsourcing – affects local disaster risk reduction efforts. Additionally, his ongoing research utilizes multi-source data analytics and computational methods to address environmental and spatial inequalities.
